Hi Lads & Ladies.

I'm new here & want to join in the fun.
A friend of mine who's quite the computer wizz said if I want to put my picture up I need to purchase web space or use somebody elses.

I'm not tight but if its not a necessity why waste money? I think most of you will agree : so without meaning to sound like a tight fisted so & so, can anybody help me out.

I've been flicking through.. some of you SLers look really good. Talk about radiant skin! Well my picture is in bitmap form i think so the quality is some what downgraded than if it were a jaypeg file.. or so i'm told.

I'll get the knack of this one day. Hopefully

I figured out how to get the picture underneath my name like some of you guys, do I have to pay? Uplaoding this picture thing is real puzzle. Can somebody download it from my computer for me?

beneath where u type the message, there is a little grey box saying browse, like what sky showed u above ^^^
click browse, and search for the file, put it somewhere easy to find, eg on ure desktop or in "my documents"
click open, then submit ure reply, and et voila ure picture will be uploaded,
easy as pie

If it's a bitmap the quality should be BETTER than a jpeg.
