my disk defragmenter is broken all the buttons are greyed out etc..

is there any other ones that are suitable for win xp / ntfs volumes.

if i remember correctly i think norton had a program called norton disk utilities which did defraging. Personally I never defrag my drives any more. If shit gets that slow then it gets a good formatting.

Yeah Norton Utilites has something called Speed Disk, which is just basically the same as the Windows defragmenter

Use diskeeper lite its the best out there....

i used dirms in the end, defragged c, d and f drives fine, however it is SILL doing the e drive, its been doing it for like a day now!

the drive aint broken, its just fucking fragmented.

Dont waste your time with Microsoft. Get a copy of partion magic 8. This is the best program out there by miles......

Partition magic doesnt defrag does it ?
