A question for all Designers who design flyers for raves/events, etc...

Where do you get all your images from, ie: sexy women, backgrounds, etc...

What software do you use to create the 3D images and,

Where do you get all your fonts from??

i get my images from google and gettyimages.com <-- tha site is wkd.

3d progs i use 3d studio max and jst add some photoshoping.

fonts i s google.

How much does 3D Studio Max cost? Have you got any example of work that you could post up just to give me an idea of it's uses!

And as for the fonts, you mean just search on google for the font you require? I found some site that has frre fonts, some are quite good but it clearly says that you cannot use them for marketing purposes without permission! By the sounds of it thay may want a cut of the profit?

i get all my images off the net from *Cough* other people & bust um around in photoshop & i use bryce 5 & maya

I never said I was gonna pay for it on the net, just wondering what the shelf price is? Can you download it from Kazaa then? I just don't wanna download it to find I get a virus, if this is possible? Cheers for your help though mate, really appreciated!

yea i think its 99.9% viruses & trojans

I have a peice of virus software that when searching for songs etc the kazaa icon next to a song etc on the search results is red. Meaning its got a virus on it, so since then i havnt had one virus from kazaa.

Any one after the latest 3d max or any other design or music software thats a bit wary of downloading on the net should try Wembley Market on a sunday. Havn't been now for a couple of months but there was a bloke down there selling every decent bit of softwarre available. Works out at 10 quid a disk but i have never had to take anything back to him. The blokes a bit of tech head so you shouldn't have problems with what you buy. He gets stuff before it even comes out in the country.

If he's still down there, worth a visit!!! Otherwise try markets/carboots in your area.

Bruv, dont pay for it, the best program for creating graphics is adobe photoshop, studio max is a 3d rendering program, not for making graphics. these programs cost hundreeds 2 thousends

the guy at wembley market sold me a buggy copy of cubase sx 2

i had to revert to sx 1

im not vex after all it was pirated software

just dont be thinking its risk free if you go there

lol download them off kazaa/limewire/warez .. allow paying for programs i cant afford to and dont want to buy programs ..... when i can get them for free . photoshop i would say is the best for flyer design cos 3d max is for rendering 3d objects mainly but can be used to good effects. also good is to use illustrator for originality.
